Procurement and Sourcing Specialist

Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve best value
Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation
Analyze market trends and recommend cost-saving opportunities
Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and timelines
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
Manage inventory levels and coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams as needed
Support audits and reporting related to procurement activities
Run required reports and communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
Track orders to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
Monitor stock replenishment reports and place replenishment orders as needed
Develop and good maintain relationships with supplier customer service reps
Use Oracle and other systems to place purchase orders
Provide drawings and specifications to vendors as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain operations
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Proficiency in procurement systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of contract management and purchasing best practices

Preferred

CPSM, CPP, or CIPS certification is a plus
Experience in Oil & Gas is a plus
Familiarity with budgeting and cost analysis
