Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently perform abrasive blasting and cleaning techniques to prepare surfaces for coating
Assist with proper surface preparation, paint mixing, and coating application as directed by senior personnel
Follow all applicable practices, policies, procedures, and industry standards related to blasting and coating operations
Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times during blasting and painting activities
Maintain all tools, blasting equipment, and painting equipment in good working condition
Support general jobsite operations, including masking, material handling, and cleanup
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in blasting, coatings, or related NACE Technician work
NACE Certification required
Ability and willingness to travel as needed
Valid government-issued ID or driver's license
Ability to work in industrial environments and follow strict safety protocols
Preferred
Rope Access preferred and must be willing to obtain
High school diploma or GED preferred
TWIC card preferred
