Responsibilities
Creating detailed mechanical layouts for Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) boards
Selecting appropriate connectors
Ensuring fit, clearance, and tolerance compliance using PTC Creo and Windchill
Troubleshooting manufacturing issues
Supporting DFM/DFA reviews
Defining and overseeing test plans
Managing board integration with enclosures
Documentation
BOM management
Cross functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, systems, reliability, and manufacturing teams
Qualification
Required
Must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with CCA board mechanical design, connector selection, and manufacturing support
Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Creo and Windchill
Must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Zuken, IPC standards, and aerospace/defense product cycles
Strong problem solving, communication, and project management skills are a must, as is the ability to produce high quality design documentation and guide test and integration activities
Preferred
Cable and harness design experience
