Business Application Specialist

They are seeking a Business Application Specialist to support and enhance their core business systems, including ERP and CRM platforms, while collaborating with teams to improve operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Configure, maintain, and support core applications such as Unanet AE (ERP), Paylocity (HRS), Unanet CRM by Cosential (CRM), and related cloud platforms
Maintain data quality through audits, cleanup efforts, and continuous integrity checks
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, perform root cause analysis, and support end users
Support upgrades, testing, validation, and release management
Develop and deploy system configurations, custom fields, workflows, and reports as needs evolve
Support JT’s Power BI and Data Lake environment, including data connectivity, refresh schedules, gateway reliability, and dashboard validation
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations that turn data into clear operational insights
Assist with the implementation of new modules, features, integrations, and system enhancements
Work with end users and department leaders to gather requirements and design practical system updates
Document configurations, workflows, and changes to ensure long-term governance
Collaborate with vendors and technical partners when specialized expertise is required
Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend system-based solutions to improve operational effectiveness
Support ongoing improvement of JT’s digital tools to strengthen employee experience and business operations
Stay informed on emerging cloud-based technologies, application best practices, and AI-enabled capabilities within JT’s core platforms, proactively identifying opportunities to apply AI and automation to advance systems, improve processes, and enhance operational efficiency
Support special projects and corporate initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
3-5+ years of experience in application administration, configuration, or support
Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Adaptability to new tools, technologies, and evolving business needs
Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S
Occasional travel for professional development or project needs
Preferred
ERP/HCM/CRM experience preferred
