Responsibilities

Provide quality inspection support in a cable manufacturing environment to ensure product conformity and compliance with the company’s quality management system and business strategy
Represent Quality as a cross-functional team member, supporting incoming and manufacturing inspections, including First Article Inspection (FAI), start-up inspections, and in-process audits
Apply quality principles, methods, and techniques to verify product conformance and support continuous improvement
Perform and document start-up, First Article, in-process, final, and electrical inspections
Verify product conformance using inspection tools, measurement devices, and electrical test equipment
Generate non conformance reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
Support Engineering and R&D testing activities as needed
Mentor production employees on quality practices and standards
Conduct Manufacturing Process Audits
Follow all safety rules and report unsafe situations or equipment immediately
Perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Demonstrate strong communication and people skills
Work with minimal supervision

Qualification

QA experienceLean manufacturing principlesInspection tools proficiencyBasic mathematical knowledgeMultitaskAdaptability to new technologiesCommunication skillsAttention to detailCollaboration skills

Required

Background in QA or Manufacturing experience
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and adaptability to new technologies
Lean manufacturing principles, practices and techniques including 5S and Kaizen events
Basic mathematical knowledge required
Perform and document start-up, First Article, in-process, final, and electrical inspections
Verify product conformance using inspection tools, measurement devices, and electrical test equipment
Generate non conformance reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
Support Engineering and R&D testing activities as needed
Mentor production employees on quality practices and standards
Conduct Manufacturing Process Audits
Strong communication and people skills required
Ability to work with minimal supervision
