Responsibilities
Analyze, board, input, and service complex loan documentation and data across various system applications
Perform critical data review of legal documents to ensure accurate loan boarding and servicing
Maintain data integrity and accuracy in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines
Analyze, research, and resolve servicing audit findings
Assist in deciding reporting needs and provide detailed reports to stakeholders
Track issues, identify trends, and recommend workflow improvements
Conduct special projects and handle report monitoring as assigned
Responsible for customer and associate inquiries, and general correction activities
Create and maintain team procedures and training materials
Coordinate and provide training for new associates
Guide business partners regarding escalated loan operations questions
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and provide mentorship to junior team members
Monitor daily workflow and staff levels
Assign and re-assign tasks to maintain efficiency and meet SLAs
Proactively identify issues or needed changes and recommend resolutions
Participate in quality improvement efforts and system testing
Provide exceptional internal and external customer service through phone, chat, and email
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Communicate effectively and professionally
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED), or equivalent, relevant work or military experience
5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of loan processing/servicing/documentation
3 years of customer service experience
Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a highly collaborative environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
Experience reading, analyzing, and/or interpreting legal documents
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Preferred
Demonstrated experience collaborating with customer-facing associates to understand their needs and how to best provide operational excellence
Intermediate to Advanced level of knowledge with Excel/Google Sheets for data analytics
Experience in the Banking or Finance industry, Operational areas, Financial Analysis, or comparable support functions
Experience providing training/mentorship to junior-level associates
Experience with and understanding of loan documentation
Experience with commercial and/or consumer lending documentation, operations and support
Working knowledge of Google Workspace or equivalent
