Responsibilities

Perform upgrades of the EAM software to new release levels and handle database migrations
Patching the EAM software and applying any relevant product updates
Configure, manage and maintain the operation of complex relational databases across various operating systems
Implement and manage data security protocols, including access controls and encryption with Active Directory account management and two-factor authentication implementation
Experience with MS SQL Server system administration strong enough to configure automated database backups, restore databases, and troubleshoot general SQL Server issues
Collaborate with ISSO and system administrators to integrate new features and resolve vulnerability issues
Implement database high availability solutions and multiple types of replications to include query construction
Work with team members to ensure technology is effectively supporting the enterprise
Perform Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists and conduct SCAP scans monthly
Support multiple system accreditation efforts (e.g., site or enclave ATO requirements)

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
3 years of relevant experience in Microsoft server administration including Experience installing, configuring, hardening, and maintaining Window servers, performing software installations and upgrades to operating systems and COTS applications
Experience installing and operating MS SQL Server and/or Cloud environment
Experience with STIG(Security Technical Implementation Guides) , and SCAP (Security Content Automation Protocol) requirements
Experience with refactoring old database systems
Certifications: OS certification (ideally 8140 or at least 2019) and active CompTIA Security+

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, Cyber Security, or a related field of study
Professional demeanor, good interpersonal skills, and ability to excel in a high-paced multi-tasked environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A strong understanding and knowledge of computers, network, and security systems
Experience with VMware Servers and virtual machine
Understand ACAS scanning requirements
Familiarity with Apache HTTP server and resolving common issues on windows
Knowledge of Service Management disciplines engagement, design, delivery and maintenance lifecycles in a high technology or IT services domain
Ability to work with limited supervision. Must be a self-starter with initiative
