Staffing Coordinator / CNA
Intersect Healthcare is seeking a Staffing Coordinator who will evaluate ongoing staffing needs and schedule staff according to Per Patient Day guidelines. The role involves maintaining accurate schedules, coordinating with HR and management, and ensuring adequate staffing levels while adhering to patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities
Schedules staff to accompany residents for medical appointments when necessary
Create and distribute monthly staffing schedules for Nurses and C.N.A.s. Monitor work schedule to ensure adequate staffing for unit within PPD range and fill open shifts as needed
Work in close partnership with HR, DON & Administrator to determine placement and orientation schedules for new nursing personnel. Notify appropriate mentors of said schedule
Maintain ongoing communication with the supervisors and other management personnel regarding staffing and scheduling issues
Participates in Facility Orientation
Respond to employee requests for vacation time and adjust schedule appropriately
Provide staffing reports to D.O.N. and Administrator to aide in budget preparation
Adhere to patient rights and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA guidelines
Attend staff meetings and provide in-services as requested
Conduct in-person interviews for staffing
Provides receptionist duties such as telephone answering, filing, and door monitor
Perform other tasks as required
Attend hiring staffing meetings with NHA, DON, and HRBP to evaluate staffing needs
Qualification
Required
One year of experience in long term care, hospice care, or healthcare setting required
Two years of experience in health record processing and maintenance preferably in long term care
Must pay extreme attention to detail
Basic computer knowledge is required
Manual dexterity required to operate modern office equipment
Ability to travel as needed or assigned
Preferred
CNA preferred
