Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain responsive web and mobile user interfaces using modern front-end technologies
Translate user needs, requirements, and business processes into intuitive UX/UI solutions
Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard design tools
Implement user-centered design principles and ensure compliance with accessibility standards (including Section 508)
Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to plan, design, develop, test, and deploy applications
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
Develop reusable UI components and front-end architectures using frameworks such as React or Angular
Integrate front-end applications with back-end services and APIs
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for performance, security, and maintainability
Support testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities across development environments
Present design concepts, prototypes, and demonstrations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Document designs, workflows, and technical implementations as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in web and/or mobile application development with a strong focus on UX/UI
Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)
Experience with UX/UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms
Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, designers, product owners, and stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Active DoD Secret clearance. Candidates without a minimum of a Secret clearance will not be considered
U.S. citizenship
Preferred
Experience developing mobile applications using technologies such as React Native or Swift
Experience supporting DoD or other federal government programs
Knowledge of cloud-based application architectures (e.g., AWS-hosted solutions)
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, CompTIA Security+, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
