Responsibilities

Lead enterprise architecture efforts for large federal IT programs, ensuring alignment with mission, security, and compliance requirements
Provide architectural oversight across cloud infrastructure, application platforms, APIs, data ecosystems, and DevSecOps pipelines
Design, develop, and deploy AWS-native, cloud-first solutions
Collaborate with program managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to guide solution delivery
Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance
Support modernization initiatives and cloud migration efforts
Mentor architects and senior engineers across programs

Required

5+ years of experience in architectural leadership on federal IT programs
5+ years managing or supporting programs of comparable size and complexity
Strong hands-on experience developing and deploying AWS-native applications
Proven experience coordinating enterprise architecture across: Cloud platforms (AWS), API management and integration, Data platforms and data architecture, DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines
Active AWS certification(s) (Required)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Experience supporting USDA NRCS or similar federal agencies
Familiarity with FedRAMP, NIST, and federal security frameworks
Experience in large-scale cloud modernization or transformation programs
