Responsibilities
Calibrate, perform preventative and corrective maintenance of AVL equipment
Able to wire control devices and verify operation
Assists in the evaluation and repair of AVL equipment
Assists in test equipment installation, configuration, maintenance and calibration
Actively participate in developing one’s own training plan and exhibit ownership in completing training
Provide feedback of troubleshooting guides and continuous improvement methods to increase operating equipment effectiveness (O.E.E.)
Record and document calibrations, diagnostic and performance test results, records maintenance activities, and documents while accurately maintaining shift logs
Professional and timely submittal of timesheets, calibration reports, and other administrative responsibilities
Complete all applicable safety training
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Basic electronic or precision mechanical assembly knowledge
Ability to read blueprints including electrical schematics
Electrical wiring skills
Knowledge and use of fine mechanical hand tools
Ability to diagnose problems with simple systems
Basic knowledge of personal computer hardware and software
Experience in emissions testing and automotive
Proficient communication skills
Positive, proactive attitude
Strong communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Willingness to learn
Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred
2 Years Technical college
