Propulsion Systems Manager (NJUS)

Responsibilities
Identifies adverse reliability trends and performs root cause analyses for fleet propulsion reliability issues for all engines and Auxiliary Power Units (APU) in the combined NJA fleets
Ensures compliance with the reliability requirements of the FAA required Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) for all fleet propulsion system operations and performance, prepares and presenting relevant summaries to FAA and NetJets management at CASS meetings
Reviews, assesses and dispositions non-mandatory propulsion system related OEM Service Bulletins, Service Letters, etc. for the NJA fleets. Determines effectiveness, return-on-investment, prepares justification packages to Aircraft Maintenance Review Board (AMRB) for approval. Upon approval, initiates fleet-wide modification or maintenance program improvement for incorporation and manages implementation projects
Coordinates resolution with power plant OEMs and NJA internal departments to resolve fleet power plant operation and performance reliability issues
Provides guidance for department personnel to develop skill sets to identify adverse reliability trends, root cause analyses and development of resolution initiatives to improve fleet propulsion system operational and technical performance. Reviews, assesses and dispositions (project manages to implement) non-mandatory propulsion system related OEM Service Bulletins on to the NJA fleets
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Aeronautical
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P)
4-6 years of experience
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Five years in aviation reliability engineering experience
Five years in propulsion system line maintenance experience
Excellent project management skills
Ability to analyze large amounts of aircraft technical and performance data
Excellent team-building and coaching skills
Strong leadership skill set with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to adjust priorities of projects to meet the changing needs and demands of the organization and operation
