Tabeer Pakistan, a portfolio company of Hillhouse Capital, is seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations to build, scale, and optimize its operational platform. This role involves leading company-wide operations and collaborating with executive leadership to ensure strategic objectives are met.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee company-wide operations, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and growth objectives
Design, implement, and continuously optimize scalable operational processes, governance frameworks, and performance metrics
Drive cross-functional execution across operations, finance, compliance, technology, risk, and business teams
Establish operational excellence standards, including SOPs, internal controls, and data-driven decision-making mechanisms
Support M&A integration, post-investment operational improvements, and organizational transformation initiatives
Build and mentor high-performing operational leadership and execution teams
Identify operational risks and inefficiencies, proactively implementing mitigation and improvement strategies
Serve as a trusted strategic partner to Hillhouse Capital stakeholders and board-level leadership when required

Required

12+ years of progressive experience in operations, business management, or general management roles
Prior experience as a VP, SVP, Head of Operations, COO, or equivalent leadership position
Strong background in scaling operations within high-growth companies, private equity-backed firms, or complex global organizations
Demonstrated ability to build systems, processes, and teams from both early-stage and scaling perspectives
Exceptional strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability
Strong financial and operational acumen; experience working closely with finance, compliance, and risk functions
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior executives, boards, and investors
Bachelor's degree required
