Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and manage fully integrated design and construction project schedules, consolidating them into a master schedule
Prepare and maintain project reports, including schedule summaries, performance metrics, and status updates
Maintain project data systems by assigning budgets, project managers, and related project information
Coordinate with project managers and functional leaders to ensure accuracy and consistency of project information, including priority, scope, status, and descriptions
Initiate, update, and maintain project records within ERP and project data systems
Provide system support, guidance, and training to end users as needed
Load and manage project estimates in support of project closeout activities
Generate project audit summary reports for management review, closeout documentation, and data requests
Create ad hoc queries, dashboards, and reports to support project tracking and decision-making
Participate in monthly project data systems meetings and contribute to system enhancements, testing, and documentation of new procedures
Produce regular status reports, respond to user inquiries, and perform data verification to ensure accuracy and reliability
Facilitate monthly project review meetings with project managers and functional group leaders; update schedules and project data as required
Support regulatory activities by collecting project data, compiling supporting documentation, and performing variance analysis on approved budgets versus actual expenditures
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, codes, and applicable regulatory requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Experience in project controls, scheduling, or project management within design, construction, infrastructure, or utilities environments
Proficiency with project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and ERP systems
Strong analytical, reporting, and data management skills
Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Preferred
Experience supporting audits, compliance, or regulatory reporting is preferred
Experience working in regulated environments such as utilities or public infrastructure
Familiarity with Public Utilities Commission (PUC) budget approvals and variance analysis
Advanced reporting, query, or system enhancement experience
