Director, Commercial Sales

Encompass Technologies is revolutionizing how technology supports the modern beverage industry. They are seeking an experienced Commercial SaaS Sales Director to lead and drive revenue growth strategy by acquiring new customers and expanding relationships with existing clients.

Responsibilities

Lead efforts to prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities across commercial-level customers
Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to identify high-potential accounts
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a focus on large-scale commercial opportunities
Manage the entire commercial relationship in support of minimizing churn (cancellations, non-renewals, contraction) and increasing growth to realize GRR and NRR targets
Oversee and manage relationships with existing clients to maximize account growth
Identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current customer accounts
Collaborate with customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and long-term engagement
Provide mentorship and leadership to a team of sales professionals, driving performance to exceed sales targets
Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies
Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to refine sales strategies and improve outcomes
Track and analyze key sales metrics, preparing detailed performance reports for senior leadership
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and develop plans to mitigate risks or capitalize on growth opportunities
Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, methodologies, and technology utilization

Required

Proven track record in both acquiring new customers and expanding relationships with existing clients within the commercial software industry
Building and executing a sales strategy that accelerates growth, maximizes customer satisfaction, and fosters long-term business partnerships
Lead efforts to prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities across commercial-level customers
Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to identify high-potential accounts
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a focus on large-scale commercial opportunities

10+ years of experience in commercial SaaS sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role
Experience selling ERP or other commercial-level software solutions
Familiarity with CRM and sales enablement platforms (HubSpot, Gong, and Challenger highly preferred)
Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment with an emphasis on customer expansion
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Preferred

Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving new business in large commercial accounts
Strong background in managing and scaling high-performing sales teams
Expertise in commercial solution selling, including experience with complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
Demonstrated ability to foster long-term client relationships and expand revenue within existing accounts
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
MBA preferred
