Production Supervisor
PBI-Gordon Companies, including its subsidiary PetAg, prioritizes people, pets, and the places they go. Responsibilities
Production Supervisor plans, schedules, directs, and executes production activities for maximum performance of projects
Supervises all activities necessary for the cleaning and sanitizing of production, packaging, storage areas, and production equipment daily in manufacturing facilities while ensuring that all duties are performed in accordance with USDA (U.S. Department of Ag), SSOP (Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures), HACCP (Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Points), FDA (Food & Drug Administration), and cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
Responsible to supervise a team including planning and directing work, training employees, assessing performance, addressing, and resolving issues in accordance with applicable company policies and laws
Develop and execute training plans, documentation, track KPIs and OKRs and SOPS necessary to build a flexible workforce, achieve cost savings, and ensure maximum efficiency
Responsible for executing the deliverables discussed in daily production meetings to ensure timeline is met by delegating and evaluating job assignments and ensure on time productivity
Provide feedback and corrective action plans to support schedule adherence, safety, and production standards
Lead troubleshooting and problem-solving initiatives within production, quality, maintenance, and other support functions
Drive safety and compliance programs to supports workplace safety
Oversees all initiatives related to food safety and hygiene. Coordinating all cleaning and vermin control procedures, and ensures that the facility follows all company local, state, and federal food sanitation standards

Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required; College degree preferred
3+ years of related work experience as an individual contributor with some leadership experience
1+ year of Sanitation and Waste Management experience is required
Experienced in FDA/USDA/cGMP regulated facilities
Required MS computer skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions government regulations and procedure manuals
Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
Required mathematical skills
Results orientated and organized with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines
Proven analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal ability to set long-term goals and with proven ability to create and maintain a positive working relationship with employees, cross functional departments, and customers
Travel, 10%

Bilingual ability Spanish is preferred
