This role ensures the reliability, safety, and performance of hardware components and embedded software systems used in commercial vehicles through validation testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute validation plans for electronic hardware and embedded software systems
Perform functional, environmental, and durability testing for hardware components and software features
Validate ECUs, sensors, wiring harnesses, and associated software for compliance with specifications and industry standards
Conduct software integration and regression testing to ensure system stability and performance
Analyze test data, identify issues, and provide root cause analysis and corrective actions
Collaborate with design engineers, software developers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues
Document test procedures, results, and provide detailed technical reports
Support continuous improvement initiatives for validation processes and tools
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements throughout the validation process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
3–5 years of experience in hardware and software validation within automotive or heavy truck manufacturing
Strong knowledge of embedded systems, ECUs, sensors, wiring harnesses, and related hardware/software
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., SAE, ISO) and validation methodologies
Experience with CAN bus, diagnostic tools, and software validation frameworks
Proficiency in data acquisition tools, test equipment, and debugging software
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong communication and documentation skills
