As a Security Officer - Refinery Patrol Driver, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a chemical and petrochemical location, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and/or petrochemical location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating site notifications, documenting actions taken, and coordinating with local emergency services as directed
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading and unloading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations
Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and deliveries; help to enforce sign-in and/or escort requirements based on site rules
Complete accurate shift activity logs and incident reports, report maintenance issues such as lighting and/or fence damage, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnovers
Qualification
Required
Security experience of 6+ months is required
A TSA issued TWIC is required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire
