3+ years expBluebird Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable part-time Bookkeeper to join our fully remote team. This role supports multiple small business clients by delivering day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and back-office services.
Accounting
Responsibilities
Basic bookkeeping: record all transactions related to revenue, expenses, bank accounts, credit cards, and other day-to-day accounting items
Account Reconciliations: perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
Working Capital Loans: perform monthly reconciliations of all working capital loans
Accounts Receivable: record customer payments and match against appropriate customer invoices
Accounts Payable: record vendor invoices, record payments to vendors and match against appropriate vendor invoices
Process clients’ customer invoicing
Process payment of clients’ vendor invoices, including obtaining approval from client for each payment
Process payroll according to clients’ regular payroll schedule
Record payroll journal entries
Ensure proper filing of payroll taxes
Process contractor payments
Set-up new employees and associated state payroll tax registration
Prepare royalty accounting using Royalty Accounting system (ie Eddy.app or other similar system) periodically per clients’ instructions
Distribute standard internal financial statements following each month-end
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or significant related experience
3+ years of experience in related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
Strong organizational and analytical skills
