Title Clerk
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Automotive Title Clerk to join our client’s accounting team as a contract to hire employee. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail, and is eager to grow within the department. This role involves processing titles and registrations, managing documentation, and performing various administrative duties.
Responsibilities
Process customer retail and lease titles and registrations, with a strong focus on out‑of‑state transactions, including research, tracking, and follow‑up
Process resale titles and all related documentation
Prepare checks for title batches, registrations, and license plates
Handle mailing, copying, scanning, and filing of deal‑related paperwork
Update title status and internal comments
Issue refund checks to customers when necessary
Reconcile assigned accounts and identify discrepancies
Complete additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to handle high volumes of work
Consistent and reliable attendance
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks effectively
Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus
