Procurement Analyst

Responsibilities

Build clear reports, dashboards, and presentations that share procurement progress, risks, and improvement areas with category managers in both the Direct and Indirect space
Write concise summaries that turn data into practical insights people can act on
Analyze multiple datasets on tight timelines and highlight patterns that matter
Coordinate supplier approval steps by gathering quality records, diversity certificates, NDAs, and insurance documents
Track missing supplier documents and follow through until records are complete and accurate
Support new supplier creation, pricing updates, and item setups within SAP
Update approved vendor lists, source lists, and quality records to keep systems current
Maintain reliable supplier documentation data so teams can trust what they see
Provide backup support for the Senior Procurement Analyst during reporting cycles and system updates
Build small process improvements that simplify workflows and reduce manual rework
Partner across procurement, quality, and plant teams to resolve supplier service or quality questions

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
3 years of supply chain or procurement experience in a corporate or manufacturing setting
2 years of hands-on experience with data analysis, reporting, and process improvement
ERP system experience, including master data or transactional support
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Ability to travel up to 20% as business needs require

Preferred

Master's degree in business, supply chain, analytics, or a related field
SAP experience supporting procurement, materials, or vendor master data
Experience within food manufacturing or regulated production environments
Familiarity with food safety, raw material planning, inventory coordination, and procurement workflows
