Responsibilities

Provide Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA testing and remediation for Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR) for Sitecore Content Management Solution site and content within the CMS
Work independently under MDCR direction and prioritization following e-Michigan web content standards
Remediation of digital content including PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and images
Key actions involve structuring documents, tagging content, adding alt text, and establishing logical reading orders
Conform to the State of Michigan (SOM) Look & Feel Standards
Report on multiple formats

Required

3+ years of working experience with ADA remediation
3+ years of experience with Sitecore Content Management Solution
In depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA Guidelines
Experience with ADA testing tools
Accessibility testing to ensure conformance to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, specifically with WCAG 2.1 AA
Experience with development and maintenance of web solutions using Sitecore CMS
Ability to conform to the State of Michigan (SOM) Look & Feel Standards
Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
Strong background with ADA Remediation of digital content including PDF, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Images, Reports on multiple formats
Key actions involve structuring documents, tagging content, adding alt text, and establishing logical reading orders
Good communication both verbal and written
