Responsibilities
Provide overall program leadership and management for federal IT initiatives, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
Serve as the primary point of contact with government stakeholders, contracting officers, and technical teams
Manage integrated project plans, schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
Oversee modernization efforts, including AI-enabled capabilities, automation, or process improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with federal policies, standards, and contractual requirements
Lead cross-functional teams, including technical staff, subcontractors, and vendors
Track performance metrics and deliver regular status reports, briefings, and executive updates
Support continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, quality, and mission outcomes
Qualification
Required
5+ years of federal IT program management experience
5+ years managing programs of similar size, scope, and complexity
2+ years supporting IT modernization efforts, with a preference for AI-enabled enhancements or automation initiatives
Proven experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables in a federal environment
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Prior experience supporting USDA NRCS programs or related USDA initiatives
Experience working with federal modernization, digital transformation, or data-driven programs
