Business Development Associate
Bluewater is a startup focused on innovative solutions for managing large format batteries and solar panels. They are seeking a Business Development Associate to drive growth in their renewable energy marketplace by identifying new opportunities and building customer relationships.
Responsibilities
Proactively seek new business through prospecting, cold calling, and other methods of outreach
Qualify leads and conduct market research to identify potential customers
Serve as an integral part of the sales process, maintaining a pipeline of leads while tracking ongoing deals within a CRM software
Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships
Generate quotes and proposals which are accurate to the scope of each project
Work with clients to understand their unique pain points and creatively outline custom solutions based on Bluewater’s services
Own the full sales cycle, from first outreach through proposal, negotiation, and closing
Drive deals across the finish line and see them through to executed contracts and purchase orders
Become a subject matter expert in Bluewater's services and how they can provide value to customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
1-4+ years of experience in sales
Sales training and CRM experience are a plus
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive and diligent with a self-motivated approach to business development
Strong organizational and project management skillset
Willingness to travel to industry trade shows and events
Results-driven with a passion for achieving ambitious sales targets
