Field Operations Coordinator

The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis is the leading champion of empowerment and opportunity for individuals throughout the region. They are seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee recovery efforts for their Disaster Recovery Program, focusing on safety, budget, and timelines while managing teams in the field.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate field recovery operations with employer partners and recovery teams
Implement pre-defined disaster recovery activities in partnership with employer partners
Access worksites for safety, timeline of projects and resources needed
Manage logistics, equipment, personnel deployment, and essential supplies for recovery sites
Act as the main point of contact for onsite operations and liaison with SOS+S leadership
Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, quality control, debris removal, and recycling
Monitor field operations spending and provide timely updates to leadership on recovery status
Support disaster recovery training and exercises
Other duties as assigned

Required

1-3 years of experience in disaster recovery, emergency response, construction management, logistics, or field operations
Knowledge of worksite safety standards and environmental remediation
Experience with project management software and job costing
Experience leading field teams and managing physically demanding and intense outdoor work
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a confidential and sensitive nature
