Public Relations Lead Core Tire & Retail
Bridgestone Americas is a leading tire and rubber company, and they are seeking a Public Relations Lead to execute communications programs aligned with their Core Tire and Retail strategies. The role involves developing communications plans, generating media coverage, and supporting various stakeholders in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities
Partner with the Manager, Consumer PR, to develop communications plans and activities to successfully launch new products, services and solutions for the company’s Consumer Replacement & OE, Retail, Commercial TBR, OTR and Ag tire businesses across US & LATAM regions
Execute strategic and integrated communications plans/activities to protect and enhance Bridgestone’s external reputation related to its commercial business
Provide communications support for sustainability-related storytelling being targeted to Consumer, Retail, TBR&R, OTR and Ag customers
Generate high quality earned media coverage for Bridgestone and its tires, services and solutions
Build relationships with leading trade, business and tire media to secure strategic earned media placements
Support thought leadership content development and implement strategy for respective businesses
Produce social media content for corporate and brand channels to amplify the company’s commercial initiatives
Support communication activities related to the Webfleet, fleet care and mobility solutions business across regions
Monitor and mitigate issues on an ongoing basis to protect the company’s reputation among key stakeholders; align with Enterprise Crisis Management team and provide crisis communications support as needed
Support the execution of the Firestone Heritage Campaign as part of our larger Marketing Center of Excellence’s brand work
Develop and maintain targeted media lists, curate press kits for campaigns to deliver “media-first” storytelling tools, and staff media interview with subject matter experts
Support inbound media inquiries and co-develop proactive media campaigns with the larger Core Tire & Retail PR team across BSAM markets
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related field of study
Strong written and verbal abilities in both English and Spanish languages
