Responsibilities
Authoring and/or Generating content for illustrated parts catalogs, maintenance manuals, flight operation, mission systems, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) documents, in an Unstructured/Structured FrameMaker environment or other authoring software for commercial and or Air Force, Army, or Navy programs
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualification
Required
Position requires Active DoD Secret Clearance or greater at time of hire
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience
Demonstrated technical publication authoring experience within structured authoring environments to include Unstructured and/or Structured FrameMaker
Demonstrated ability to engage internal and external stakeholders and customers at varying levels
Demonstrated understanding of MS Office Suite and applications
Demonstrated understanding of engineering principles, reading schematics and/or wiring diagrams
Preferred
Demonstrated working knowledge of ATA iSpec 2200, MIL-PRF-38807C, and MIL-STD-37874
Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of VIPSAM Mission Systems
Demonstrated knowledge of 747/757 Boeing airframes and avionics
Demonstrated ability to work within and potentially lead defined budgets and meet schedule deadlines
