Senior Project Manager, Quality Hub & Coaching For NWO Clinics - 500213
The University of Toledo is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Quality Hub & Coaching in NWO Clinics. Responsibilities
Direct quality improvement (QI) activities for multiple Primary Care Physician (PCP) clinics across Northwest Ohio
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement sustainable change
Contribute to system-wide quality improvement and Medicaid value-based care strategies by improving clinical outcomes and supporting performance measurement
Facilitate the development and engagement of interdisciplinary teams in improvement using a structured data-driven improvement methodology
Provide education to the teams in the use of project management and process improvement tools and techniques
Help teams plan and run effective meetings, use data to assess their work, plan and test change ideas, gather and track data to monitor the effectiveness of change, and develop communication plans for sharing information on improvement efforts
Transfer skills to the teams so they can continue to improve their work and sustain improvements in the long term without coaching support
Manage group dynamics and maintain open communication with stakeholders regarding team progress and barriers
Qualification
Required
Master's degree (Business Administration, Economics, Health Care Administration, Public Health, Industrial Engineering or health related field)
The Project Management Professional (PMP) - certification awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
Two (2) years of progressive experience facilitating interdisciplinary improvement teams in a healthcare setting
Must demonstrate ability to work in diverse teams representing various disciplines, including representatives from front line staff to senior management
Must demonstrate strong communication and active listening skills
Must be skilled at facilitating a group process, building teams and transferring knowledge and skills
Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
Must have the ability to work well with staff of all levels
Must have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation in order to travel to sites and attend meetings at partner sites and in Columbus, OH
Experience in advanced computer software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc
Preferred
Clinical experience and/or knowledge of health care systems
Experience in applying quality improvement processes and tools
Experience collecting and displaying improvement data to drive decision making and prioritizing
Experience Working On State Or Federal Grants
