Responsibilities
Lead the Finance and Accounting team, organize work and set clear direction
Own the general ledger, trial balance and executive management reporting for LifeStation
Oversee billing, accounts receivable and collection processes
Ensure the company has relevant systems, financial controls, standard processes and procedures that support a strong internal control environment and an efficient operation
Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
Provide LifeStation leadership with financial, management, and performance reports
Actively participate in establishment of business plans and goal setting
Manage forecast and budget process according to company guidelines
Prepare and submit tax filings on time and accurately
Act as finance leader and liaison for various financial and tax initiatives and audits
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline required
Minimum 7 years' experience, including as a controller or similar role
Experience leading or managing a team of professionals
Advanced Excel knowledge, i.e. VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables, SUMIF functions, required
Experience in financial strategy and planning, including budgeting, reporting and working capital management
Analytical mindset and strategic thinker
Ability to work closely with a senior management team
Self-motivated and self-directed
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Preferred
CPA, MBA and/or advanced degree a plus
