Senior Program Manager
Thomson Reuters is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Program Manager to join the CIO Strategy and Operations team. This role involves leading high-impact programs that drive transformation across commercial systems and requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and program execution skills.

Responsibilities
Lead strategic programs from initiation through execution, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and measurable outcomes
Drive cross-functional collaboration across a wide range of business functions, engaging stakeholders from across the organization to ensure alignment and successful program execution
Translate business strategy into actionable program plans, managing scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and benefits realization
Champion system and process simplification and standardization, ensuring outcomes are automation-ready and customer-centric
Establish and maintain governance structures, operating rhythms, and stakeholder communication plans
Monitor program performance using KPIs such as cycle time, quality metrics, customer experience, and financial impact
Guide and mentor project managers and workstream leads, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, policies, and design principles
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in business, technology, or equivalent experience
8+ years of progressive experience in program or portfolio management, ideally in a matrixed, global organization
Proven success leading large-scale transformation initiatives within a complex, global, matrixed organization
Deep understanding of project and program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
Strong business acumen and ability to connect strategy to execution
Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with software development life cycles and technology-enabled process design
Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in complex environments
