Controlled Substance Specialist, Inventory Control

Responsibilities

Cycle count and reconcile product inventory by storage location as directed
Notify supervisor of all inventory variances
Participate in the Biennial DEA Inventory
Generate scheduled inventory status reports to monitor inventory transactions
Communicate with leads, supervisors, managers, and customers
Demonstrate safe ability to operate Order Picker
Perform other duties as assigned
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards

Required

High School diploma (or its equivalent) or minimum of two year's work experience in a warehouse or production job; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position required
1-3 years experience performing analytical work; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the responsibilities of this position required
Proven interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to delegate and prioritize work
Bilingual a plus but not required
Able to handle difficult client situations in a manner that maintains good business relations, both internal and external
Strong ability to use Microsoft Office and Google suites; experience using basic office equipment
Ability to work at elevated heights
Ability to use a scan gun or gladiator and an order picker
Able to follow standard operation procedures and follow instructions
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled
Able to work under time pressure and meet production goals; able to work more than 8 hours per day (over-time) as needed
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. required
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certified or ability to become certified required
