Responsibilities
Assess legacy data sources and evaluate data readiness for migration
Design and execute ETL strategies aligned with target ERP configurations
Develop migration scripts, tools, and repeatable processes
Conduct mock conversions and lead final production cutovers
Create and maintain detailed source-to-target mapping documentation
Apply transformation rules, data cleansing, and enrichment logic as required
Ensure migrated data conforms to target system configuration and business rules
Perform row-level and aggregate reconciliations before and after migration
Validate financial balances, open transactions, and historical data accuracy
Partner with finance and operations teams to obtain business signoff
Document defects, resolutions, and lessons learned for future reuse
Support phased ERP and operating company migrations
Participate in cutover planning and execution activities
Provide hypercare support by resolving migration-related data issues
Maintain migration runbooks, documentation, and repeatable standards
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience delivering data migrations for ERP or large enterprise systems
5+ years of hands-on SQL experience, including complex data transformations
Experience migrating financial, project, or operational data
Strong reconciliation and validation skills, particularly for financial data
Proven ability to execute accurately under tight cutover timelines
Preferred
Experience migrating from mid-market systems (e.g., Sage, Great Plains, QuickBooks, or similar)
Experience supporting ERP platforms such as BuildOps, Procore, or comparable systems
Familiarity with ETL tools, scripting, or migration frameworks
Experience with multi-entity or multi-company data migrations
