Responsibilities
Set up parts on the CMM using blueprints and cad models
Program the CMM
Operate CMM in manual mode and check simple parts
Print reports and save reports to the correct file locations
Inspect fixtures
Check for conformance to models and prints and communicate any issues
Complete calibrations of tooling
Work with engineering and programming teams to troubleshoot parts
Check and verify machined component dimensions using measuring devices to blueprints
Communicate effectively with machinist, operators, and management to maintain acceptable quality standards
Maintain and generate all required quality documentation

Required
CMM operator in a manufacturing environment
Program and operate a coordinate measuring machine
Inspect tooling for die cast
Inspect production machining of aluminum parts
First article inspections and generating reports
Checking parts to CAD models as well as blueprints
Set up parts on the CMM using blueprints and CAD models
Program the CMM
Operate CMM in manual mode and check simple parts
Print reports and save reports to the correct file locations
Inspect fixtures
Check for conformance to models and prints and communicate any issues
Complete calibrations of tooling
Work with engineering and programming teams to troubleshoot parts
Check and verify machined component dimensions using measuring devices to blueprints
Communicate effectively with machinist, operators, and management to maintain acceptable quality standards
Maintain and generate all required quality documentation
FAI's
Technical Aptitude and General knowledge of machining and quality requirements related to the tool and die industry
Minimum 2 years' experience programming CMM's
Understanding of Aerospace Quality Requirements
Excellent Computer skills
Microsoft Excel
GD&T
2-year technical degree/and or 2 years shop floor machining using a CMM
Must be a U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
Preferred
Brown & Sharpe CMM using PC DMIS preferred
