Responsibilities
Onboard labs for electronic lab reporting (ELR) and debug reconciliation issues
Build interfaces for automatic processing of data feeds, including electronic case reports (eCR)
Collaborate with hospital staff, epidemiologists, and IT specialists to design schedules and interfaces for patient/disease data exchange via HL7 v2/v3, XML, and structured files
Configure Orion Rhapsody integration engine with JavaScript to support real-time health information exchange
Implement standards-based transforms, ensure data privacy/security, and conduct quality control against legacy records
Apply vocabulary standards like SNOMED, LOINC, and ICD-10 for reliable public health reporting
Qualification
Required
3+ years writing logic for health information systems and data exchange interface engines
3+ years XML transformation experience
2+ years troubleshooting HL7 coding
Strong communication skills to bridge healthcare professionals and IT teams
Preferred
3+ years Orion Rhapsody and JavaScript; ELR/eCR experience
