Responsibilities
Lead and execute the migration of existing Jira Server instances to Jira Cloud with a specific focus on complex highly customized environments
Develop strategies for addressing existing deep customizations specifically the 35-field intake form in the Citi KYC instance leveraging OOTB Jira functionalities and Confluence plugins eg ConfiForms to maintain critical data and workflows
Configure and implement ConfiForms within Confluence to serve as the golden source for intake information ensuring seamless data flow into Jira issues and preserving reporting capabilities
Analyze existing complex Jira workflows eg intake approval processes SDLC integration and reengineer them to align with Jira Cloud standards and best practices considering the decoupling of intake from SDLC processes
Conduct comprehensive field by field analysis to map current state data to the proposed future state ensuring data consistency integrity and robust reporting across Confluence and Jira Cloud
Design and implement dashboards in both Jira and Confluence including cross application dashboards that utilize Jira data to provide clear visibility into project progress metrics and operational performance
Identify potential risks associated with the migration of critical business processes develop mitigation strategies and contribute to contingency plans for maintaining operational stability
Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute change management and training strategies for approximately 1600 users to ensure smooth adoption of the new Jira Cloud system and integrated processes
Work closely with various stakeholders including business users technical teams and vendor resources to gather requirements communicate progress and facilitate decision making
Oversee and participate in comprehensive end to end testing of Jira Cloud configurations ConfiForms integrations and associated workflows to validate functionality user experience and system performance
Qualification
Required
Extensive Jira Expertise 5 years of hands-on experience with Jira administration configuration and advanced customization
Jira Cloud Migration Proven track record of successfully migrating complex Jira Server instances to Jira Cloud including data migration and workflow transformation
Confluence Proficiency Strong experience with Confluence administration and integration with Jira
ConfiForms or similar forms plugin Experience Demonstrated experience in implementing configuring and leveraging ConfiForms or similar plugins for complex data intake and custom field management within Confluence
SQL Database Understanding Ability to understand and manage data structures potentially involving JSON data parsing from Jira description fields for reporting
Workflow Automation Scripting Experience with advanced Jira workflows automation and potentially scripting for data manipulation or integration eg Groovy scripts
Agile Methodologies Solid understanding of Agile Scrum and Kanban principles and experience applying them in a Jira context
Risk Management Ability to identify assess and mitigate risks in a largescale enterprise migration project
Change Management Experience in managing organizational change user adoption strategies and developing training materials for new systems
Excellent Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences including business stakeholders and senior management
Problem Solving Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities to troubleshoot issues and design effective solutions for complex requirements
Mandatory Certification Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
Preferred
Experience with other Atlassian products and their integration eg Jira Service Management Bitbucket
Familiarity with financial industry regulations and compliance requirements specifically KYC or similar not a must have
Experience in a large enterprise environment
Work with Dev Teams to gather Dev Plan for each SI SI is features to be implemented in a release Each release will contain about 50 SIs
Create JIRA tasks for each tasks in above mentioned Dev Plan
Generate report from Jira to create Heatmap to monitor Development Status Design Development and Dev Testing
Coordinate Dev discussions when cross team discussion is required
Follow up on Late items and reports correct status to management
