Responsibilities
Process high-volume invoices with accurate coding to departments, service lines, and cost centers
Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation within established approval workflows
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs (ACH, check, credit card) and maintain complete AP records
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Support month-end close by preparing AP aging reports, accruals, and supporting schedules
Maintain vendor documentation, including W-9s, and assist with annual 1099 processing
Ensure AP and purchasing activities align with healthcare compliance standards
Assist with purchase order creation and vendor coordination
Partner with Finance and Operations to forecast supply needs and avoid shortages of critical items
Track deliveries, monitor backorders, and communicate delays to internal stakeholders
Support inventory tracking and control efforts as needed
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounts payable experience, ideally within healthcare
Familiarity with healthcare purchasing processes, vendors, and supply chain terminology
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
