Responsibilities
Train / coach personnel on how to perform / audit Quality Control (QC) checks on every production line and support the Production Supervisor in ensuring Line Leads are completing QC Checks throughout their shift
Perform inventory reconciliation (i.e. “line clearance”) activities in WMS after end of every production run
Remove virtual ‘scrap’ from each production line at the end of every shift for packaging and WIP materials damaged throughout the shift
Print and distribute license plate and pallet tag stickers to line leads and forklift drivers
Ensure line leads are accurately recording metrics into Sojo’s equipment performance system
Escalate any production concerns and downtime to Plant Supervisor & Regional Plant Director as needed – follow all internal escalation guidelines
Work with Production Supervisor to take disciplinary action on below standard performance for any Sojo employees and escalate to the on-site staffing agency representative to replace any line associates who are not performing or keeping up with daily line production goals
Drive improvements in production which may include 5S / organization initiatives and production process flow improvements
Collaborate and communicate effectively with Shipping/Receiving, Inventory and HR representatives
Ensure a clean and maintain an organized work area

Qualification
Required
Support the Production Supervisor in all aspects of daily production
Ensure proper headcount is allocated to each production line per plan
Meet or exceed daily production goals
Maintain customer and consumable inventory
Print pallet labels
Support line operations if short on headcount
