Responsibilities

Design and execute comprehensive QA and User Acceptance Testing strategies for a complex payment and licensing system
Develop detailed Agile test plans and test cases aligned with incremental delivery cycles
Validate numerous fee, license, and payment combinations across a highly configurable rules engine
Perform in-depth testing of transaction workflows, including payment processing, data integrity, and system-to-system integrations
Identify, document, and track defects, regressions, and edge-case failures
Build and maintain automated test suites covering a significant portion of functional test scenarios
Produce reusable test documentation, including inputs, expected outputs, and scenario descriptions
Coordinate testing activities across multiple development teams and environments
Independently manage test execution timelines and ensure overall testing completeness and accuracy

Required

Must be located in the continental United States
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing
Strong experience with integration testing and complex business logic validation
Demonstrated ability to analyze and validate intricate fee calculations and error conditions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams
Proven ability to work autonomously and manage testing efforts end-to-end
Extensive experience automating tests for web-based applications using modern frameworks such as: Selenium (WebDriver), Playwright, Cypress, TestCafe

Preferred

Strong background working in Agile environments, including sprint-based testing and incremental delivery
Experience testing systems in highly regulated or data-sensitive domains (e.g., financial, regulatory, or licensing platforms)
