Required

5 years of experience in UX design for web-based applications
4 years of experience designing accessible web pages compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA or higher
5 years of experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups
3 years of experience in information architecture and design
2 years of experience in UX design within an Agile development environment

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or Graphic Design
Experience applying accessibility and inclusive design best practices
User research and persona development experience
Usability testing and analysis experience
Experience using data and metrics to inform design decisions
Responsive and adaptive design experience
Visual and UI design experience
Strong understanding of design principles and aesthetics
Experience with universal design principles
Project management skills, including time management and organization
Experience designing mobile app UI/UX, especially for ticketing or payment systems
Familiarity with transit fare structures, ticket vending machines, and validation devices
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Blazor
Exposure to data-driven design using analytics related to transit user behavior
Experience working with Figma
UX certifications or formal training in accessibility standards and Agile methodologies
Strong empathy for users and a user-centered mindset
Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and technologies
