Responsibilities
Contribute to verification and validation (V&V) activities for sensor systems (lidar, camera, radar) across new vehicle platforms and recurring hardware changes
Partner with systems, software, and sensor hardware engineers to define, standardize, and optimize scalable V&V methodologies for scalable sensor systems change deployment
Design and execute test plans to verify sensing system requirements and validate system-level performance
Bring up test setups and tools, analyze test data, and communicate results through technical reports and executive updates
Develop reusable test automation and sensor data analysis software using Python and/or C++
Qualification
Required
A degree in engineering with 6+ years' work experience in sensor systems development and/or testing
Familiarity with at least one of the sensor modalities: camera, lidar and radar
Experience with hands-on hardware debugging and testing
Experience analyzing data using Python or other high-level languages (e.g. Matlab, C++)
Experience working and communicating in a collaborative environment
Preferred
Familiarity with perception, autonomous vehicles or robotics
Experience with systems engineering V&V
Experience in test automation, particularly in production environments
Experience with SQL
Experience with Git
