Responsibilities

Own end-to-end, in-house payroll for the US and Canada (US 95%, Canada 5%)
Act as the primary escalation point for payroll accuracy, compliance, and risk
Lead and develop a small Payroll & HR Operations team
Oversee employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding)
Drive process improvement and automation

Required

7+ years of hands-on US payroll experience (multi-state)
People leadership with a player-coach mindset (prior people leadership required)
