Responsibilities
Support modernization efforts by transitioning existing reporting solutions to updated data sources and platforms
Make decisions on moderately complex to complex technical approaches for assigned project components
Exercise considerable latitude in determining methods, requirements, and sequencing of work to meet delivery timelines
Qualification
Required
5 or more years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions, including data modeling, DAX measure creation, and report/dashboard design
Advanced experience converting or rebuilding SSRS reports into Power BI or Paginated Reports
Experience transitioning reports to new data sources, including updating queries, validating logic, and redesigning datasets
Experience with T-SQL for validating data sources, rebuilding queries, and understanding legacy SSRS datasets
Proficiency in Power Query (M) for data shaping and transformation
Strong understanding of dataset architecture, model optimization, relationships, and performance tuning
Ability to analyze existing reporting logic and accurately replicate or improve it in Power BI or Paginated Reports
Experience working with large and complex datasets
Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting requirements, logic changes, and technical decisions
Preferred
Advanced proficiency in DAX, including time‑intelligence, advanced modeling patterns, and calculation optimization
Experience building enterprise‑grade Power BI semantic models or reusable datasets
Experience with Power BI Report Builder for paginated report development
Familiarity with migration of reporting solutions within large enterprise environments
