Responsibilities
Meeting with clients to understand needs and project requirements
Developing Basis of Design for electrical systems
Meeting / discussions with the Electrical Utility company
Designing the building infrastructure, including medium Voltage and Low Voltage electrical service, main electrical distribution equipment, building distribution equipment
Document design calculations and design path decisions
Model electrical distribution systems with our analysis software
Perform electrical load calculations and electrical engineering studies
Delegate work and work together with engineering and design team personnel
Edit and produce project specifications
Perform site surveys and CA field visits
Qualification
Required
15+ years of related experience
Understanding of the NEC, IBC and IECC
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Preferred
Revit to model electrical systems is a plus
PE License is a plus
SKM, AGI 32 and AMPCALC 4 are a plus
