Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js and/or Python, emphasizing API-first principles (REST/GraphQL) and event-driven architectures such as Kafka
Architect and implement cloud-native distributed systems with a focus on resiliency, observability, and security best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data pipelines, rules engines, and ML services into the NBA platform
Maintain and optimize production-grade systems that support state transitions, action management, and channel activation
Ensure reliable operations and seamless delivery in a regulated enterprise environment

Required

Strong experience building cloud-native, API-first services (REST/GraphQL)
Experience working with event-driven architectures (Kafka or equivalent)
Ability to apply best practices around versioning, idempotency, security, and observability
Experience delivering production-grade code
Ability to contribute to backend architecture and design decisions
Experience collaborating closely with product, data, and platform teams
Ability to design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js and/or Python
Emphasis on API-first principles (REST/GraphQL)
Ability to architect and implement cloud-native distributed systems with a focus on resiliency, observability, and security best practices
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data pipelines, rules engines, and ML services into the NBA platform
