Administer corrective and preventative actions internally and externally
Develop and maintain process parameters
Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) on the shop floor
Apply Lean manufacturing methods
Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements
Utilize structured problem-solving techniques
Complete and implement 8D corrective actions
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with SPC implementation and utilization
Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving
PFMEA, Control Plans, and Capability Studies
Blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working within an Automotive IATF 16949 quality system
4–7 years of experience in a Quality Control Engineer role
Self-motivated and customer-focused
Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
Team-oriented mindset
Ability to make consistent, data-driven decisions
Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, and pulling
Walking and standing for extended periods
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
Responding to public address system announcements
Manufacturing environment with forklifts and heavy equipment
Uneven walking surfaces due to floor conditions
Dusty and noisy shop environment
Temperature fluctuations due to open doors
Potential exposure to sharp-edged parts, coolants, oils, and gas fumes
Occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions
