Responsibilities
Lead and perform commissioning activities for HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units, and control systems
Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists in accordance with industry standards
Validate system performance through functional testing and analysis
Collaborate with installation teams, project managers, and design engineers to resolve technical issues
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements
Produce detailed commissioning documentation, including reports, punch lists, and system readiness assessments
Provide feedback for continuous improvement of design and installation processes
Support system handover by participating in client meetings and training sessions
Conduct site inspections and report deficiencies or deviations from design
Travel to project sites as needed (up to 80%)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in HVAC system commissioning or a related role (mechanical engineering, controls, or testing)
Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, BMS, and energy systems
Familiarity with commissioning standards
Experience working in or commissioning Critical Data Center environments
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for reporting and client interaction
Valid driver's license with clean driving record; willing to travel frequently
