FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (PM)
USAJOBS is seeking a Facility Operations Specialist to manage the Government workforce responsible for maintaining the Pentagon Heating and Refrigeration Plant. This role involves overseeing the production and distribution of steam and chilled water systems, ensuring continuous maintenance and repairs are conducted year-round.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of administrative, contract, and engineer technician personnel
Apply a comprehensive range of principles, concepts, and practices concerning facility administration sufficient to evaluate, adapt, or modify procedures and practices concerning mechanical utility systems and utility system controls
Knowledge in the areas of government contracts, program management and the development of policies and regulations for utility systems
Analysis of a wide range of facility technical aspects related to facility operations, including applicable regulations, codes, unique mechanical, electrical, data and utility systems, and facility maintenance practices
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship is required
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
May be required to successfully complete a probationary/trial period
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Required to participate in the direct deposit program
This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing
This position is subject to the DoD Priority Placement Program
The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance
A Special Background Investigation (SBI) is required with favorable adjudication by a determining authority
The employee assigned to this position is designated as a MISSION ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEE
The incumbent may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays and/or overtime
The incumbent will be subject to 24 hour/365 days a year call back
The incumbent is required to file the Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 450) within 30 days of being designated and annually thereafter
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates: (1) your leadership experience, (2) applying a comprehensive range of principles, concepts, and practices concerning facility administration, (3) knowledge in the areas of government contracts, program management, facilities, development policies and regulations, (4) applying knowledge of a wide range of facility technical aspects related to facility operations
