Responsibilities
Partner with the Sr. Category Manager and business stakeholders to execute category strategies
Lead end-to-end sourcing events (RFX/RFP/RFQ), including supplier engagement and proposal evaluation
Provide subject matter expertise during sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations
Negotiate commercial contracts, Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, renewals, and terminations
Manage the full contract lifecycle from initiation through execution and expiration
Handle contracts resulting both from sourcing events and standalone negotiations
Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, and Risk teams to ensure compliance
Integrate vendor risk management and governance requirements throughout the sourcing process
Support supplier performance, risk mitigation, and compliance initiatives
Identify and drive cost efficiencies and savings opportunities
Analyze supplier proposals and provide data-driven recommendations
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, contract negotiation, or supplier management
Minimum 3+ years supporting Data & Information Services, Software, or SaaS categories
Strong experience with commercial contract negotiation
Hands-on experience using ERP or contract management systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba)
Proven experience working with Legal teams and suppliers
Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Contract lifecycle management
Strategic sourcing & RFX execution
Supplier negotiation & stakeholder management
ERP / procurement systems
Analytical & decision-making skills
Strong written and verbal communication
Preferred
Category management experience
Third-party/vendor risk management exposure
Strategic sourcing methodology knowledge
