PCX Corporation is looking for an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Testing Technician to join their team in Knightdale, North Carolina. The role involves validating the function and performance of engineered electrical solutions and requires experience in electrical systems and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Validating the function and performance for our Engineered Electrical Solutions
Experience in Electrical Systems, Switchgear operation/testing and validation
Experience with and understanding Electrical Schematics, PLC Ladder Logic, and Instrument Diagrams
Experience of troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems while following appropriate Lockout/Tagout procedures
Able to inspect Electromechanical Equipment for cosmetic, electrical, and mechanical flaws and use PCX Non-conformance program to document and assist in correcting said flaws

Required

3-5 years' work experience in an Electrical/Mechanical Systems environment or 1-2 years' experience & 2-year electrical degree
Minimum of 6 months' experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting busbar assemblies, and transformers
Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints and specifications
Experience in the integration of electrical and mechanical systems for custom applications
Good working knowledge of NEC, UL, and ETL for low voltage applications
Strong interpersonal skills for developing and functioning in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
MS Office Software (Word, Excel, etc.)
