Traveling Community Manager - Nationwide

Responsibilities

Provide on-site leadership and support communities across the country, including interim management coverage, property transitions, and lease-ups
Partner with regional and corporate teams to implement standard operating procedures and drive performance outcomes at assigned sites
Leading the property’s marketing efforts, including managing social media, responding to online reviews, creating resident engagement content, and building partnerships with local businesses through grassroots outreach
Conduct regular property inspections and reporting to assess occupancy, maintenance, resident satisfaction, and operational needs
Train, mentor, and support on-site staff, including Community Managers, Assistant Managers, and Leasing Specialists, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and fair housing guidelines
Collaborate with vendors and maintenance teams to ensure timely unit turns, work order completion, and high standards of property condition
Assist with resident relations, conflict resolution, and retention strategies to promote a positive living environment
Monitor financial performance metrics, including rent collections, delinquency, and expense control, and implement corrective actions where needed

Required

Experience in managing communities
Confidence in leading onsite teams to success in both day-to-day operations and long-term goals

Experience in property transitions and lease-ups
Ability to partner with regional and corporate teams to implement standard operating procedures
Experience in leading property marketing efforts, including managing social media and responding to online reviews
Ability to conduct regular property inspections and reporting
Experience in training, mentoring, and supporting on-site staff
Ability to collaborate with vendors and maintenance teams
Experience in assisting with resident relations and conflict resolution
Ability to monitor financial performance metrics and implement corrective actions
